Whether it is empowering the women by forming the Self Help Group or building toilets in the house so women would feel safe or rehabilitating the sex workers and supporting the HIV-AIDS Patients or standing our alone in the man dominated field of professional work. These women are inspiring the other by their exemplary work. Excellence salutes these three Super women of Solapur.
Mrs. Anita Yogesh Malge, who has helped 400 women to stand on their own by making “Self Help Groups” in Boramani. Anita has also established 250 toilets and leading for achieving the “Swachh Bharat Mission” in her own area.
Mrs. Renuka Jadhav whose Grand Mother was involved in the sex work, has seen the exploitation and pain of the women involved in the sex work. She is trying to rehabilitate the sex workers and providing them the skill based training in various livelihood options. She also provides medical support to the women suffering from HIV-AIDS.
Ms. Anurita Andeli is the first Lady Ticket Checker in Maharashtra. Now she is designated as Chief Ticket Inspector. She not only pursued her job as “Chief Ticket Inspector” but also does a lot of social work. She has helped many children, girls and boys travelling in the trains and has lost their parents & family. She is also in the panel of Judge of DRM Award, Lokmat Sakhi Manch and also member of many women groups.
